I’m in love with this post. We are surrounded by the quick fix mentality. It’s baked into everything.

Your advice here applies to anything we want to excel at. Marriage, writing, sports, even meditation and mindfulness. We have to show up repeatedly.

Thanks so much Tim! That’s the entire reason for my blog, really. While I do focus on practical information related to endurance sports and triathlon, I like to talk about the mental skills athletes use that can easily transfer to our daily lives.

Today’s post I’m writing (right now actually) is about motivation vs. consistency.

Thank you Chris! I’m glad you enjoyed it. That letter was fascinating and totally spot on. I enjoyed breaking it apart to uncover some useful strategies that are actionable. It’s really stuff we already know inherently, but it’s always good to have a reminder and sometimes if it’s explained in a different way, it makes more sense.
